Loro has "transformed into a takedown machine"

Brandon Loro is starting to make a name for himself.  After not making it to the Pennsylvania State Tournament in 2008, he not only made it to the tournament this year - he also placed.  He wrestled some of the best guys in the state and took 6th place.  This, after getting pinned in the first period of the first round by eventual champion Dylan Alton (43-0).  It's no wonder that Loro was able to wrestle back since he has been dominant in the neutral position this season.  Brandon has transformed from a wrestler who was known solely for his mat wrestling to one who has seen success over some of Pennsylvania and New Jersey's finest wrestlers.  He is perfecting an elbow pass that has allowed him to be victorious over many unlikely opponents.  Brandon "put on a takedown clinic, dominating his way" to victories over 2 wrestlers who were each worthy of GOLD, which says a lot in Pennsylvania.

It seems that all of Brandon's hard work with RAW has paid off.  The hour long drive to RAW practices seems that much easier after accomplishing some of the things most only dream about as young boys.  Brandon and his father made RAW a priority in his training regimen because they had their sights set on these achievments all along.  Even during the season when his team (Springfield) practices six days a week, Brandon made it a point to attend RAW sessions on his "day off."  His hard work, dedication, and commitment, have paid off this season.

Winning those big matches isn't the only thing Brandon should be happy about though - with his late season success, he reached the 100 wins milestone.  Medalling in the state tournament pretty much sealed the deal for him.  One hundred career wins is a great achievment for any wrestler and we are happy to see that Brandon has embodied the true spirit of being a "takedown artist."

Brandon, a senior, is looking at add to the list of RAW alums wrestling in Division 1 programs; he is currently being recruited by several Division 1 wrestling programs, West Virginia and Bloomsburg among them.  Congratulations Brandon!!  Keep up the great work.
